Summary
Wordhaven does not require an account and does not send your data to any server. Your game data (progress, statistics, level, settings) is stored only on your own device; the email you enter in "Create Account" never leaves it either.
Information stored on your device
Game progress, found words, statistics, streaks, level, achievements, theme/language/sound settings and the optional display name you type are stored in your device's local storage.
This information never leaves your device. Deleting the app, or using Settings → "Reset all data", removes it.
Advertising
The app shows ads (Google AdMob). To serve ads, Google may process technical information such as your advertising ID, IP address and approximate location.
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland a consent form (UMP/GDPR) is shown on first launch; if you do not consent, non-personalised ads are shown.
Interstitial ads appear only between puzzles and infrequently. A rewarded ad is shown only when you choose to watch it (when you run out of hints). No banners are used.
If you buy the ad-free version, no ads are shown at all.
Purchases
In-app purchases are handled by Google Play. Your payment details never reach us — Google processes the transaction.
Your purchase is recorded in your Google Play account, which is why reinstalling the app restores your entitlement ("Restore purchases").
Notifications
Daily reminder: once you grant the notification permission, the app schedules a LOCAL reminder for 18:00 every day; it is not sent from a server. If you do not want it, simply do not grant the permission or turn it off in Android Settings → Apps → Wordhaven → Notifications.
Children's privacy
The app is intended for a general audience; it is NOT directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them. Ads are served by Google AdMob with general-audience settings.
Your rights and data deletion
Because your data lives on your device, you control it fully: Settings → "Reset all data" clears game data; uninstalling the app deletes everything.
You can manage advertising-ID preferences in Android settings (Privacy → Ads).
